Weather and Freight Delays
FEBRUARY 17, 2021
Due to historically cold, snow, and icy weather affecting a large portion of the United States, many of Go Powertrains Distribution Centers are experiencing rolling blackouts and power outages. The outages will cause temporary service-related delays on orders shipping from Texas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Missouri, North Carolina, and other distribution points along the storms path.
Many of our warranty assistance centers are closed as well due to the storm but we are making every effort to streamline warranties and repairs.
Fedex Freight and R&L carriers have both instituted a policy starting today of not picking up any new freight headed to areas affected by weather. More details can be found on their websites.
FedEx has also advised us that they are currently running three days behind schedule due to the national weather conditions. They were picking up daily, instead of twice per day as their usual schedule. They have also advised us that if they have picked up product from us it may be held for several days at a terminal for sorting. This is going to cause unpredictable delivery schedules until they work through the backlog.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you for your continued support and patience while so many states and businesses are impacted.
