America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—the Inc. 5000

with Three-Year Revenue Growth of 198 Percent.
New York, August 16, 2022 – Today, Inc revealed that Go Powertrain is No. 2801 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list represents a one-of-a-kind look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment-its independent businesses. Facebook, Chobani, Under Armor, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
Go Powertrain is on the list for the third year in a row. Ranking No. 1337 in 2020, No. 76 in 2021 and No. 2801 in 2022. Go Powertrain has grown by 198% over the last three years.

The companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 have not only been successful, but have also demonstrated resilience amid supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of Covid-19. Among the top 500, the average median three-year revenue growth rate soared to 2,144 percent. Together, those companies added more than 68,394 jobs over the past three years.

Go Powertrain, started in November 2014. It grew quickly from Aaron Barnhart doing everything from quoting, invoicing, shipping, warranties and support to 25 employees in 2022. “I see it continuing to grow. The market has turned slightly and we’re able to provide more parts this year than last year.” stated Aaron Barnhart.
Most recently, the programming section of Go Powertrain split off to GPT MAPS (Go Powertrain Mobile Automotive Programming Services). GPT MAPS has expanded its territory and employees as well. Go Powertrain provides the powertrain products and GPT MAPS provides the programming service. “You may even see GPT MAPS on the Inc. 5000 list in the future” says Barnhart.
Go Powertrain has a wide catalog. We are a “one-stop shop” for customers who can count on us having the right part nine times out of 10, according to Barnhart.
Go Powertrain’s office and warehouse is in Hinton Virginia. Go Powertrain works with other warehouses, including one in Kansas City, Mo., and Nebraska.

Methodology
Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2021. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2018 is $100,000; the minimum for 2021 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Growth rates used to determine company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.
